Joe Löhrmann at the piano

A life beyond the concert hall

Joe Löhrmann

From the Streets to the World Stage

From the streets of Bremen where he began pushing his piano into town squares to share his gifts with passers-by, Joe Löhrmann has risen to international acclaim for legendary nature concerts, featuring his solo compositions, played against the backdrop of sparkling waterfalls, majestic mountains, glowing sunsets, and pristine lakes.

Making Nature His Concert Hall

After a round-the-world trip, Löhrmann was inspired to create My Traveling Piano, purchasing an old camper van and packing the instrument inside as luggage, to share his magic far and wide. Leaving the cities, making nature his concert hall, he began playing his way into the hearts of listeners from inside the lush forests of Europe, under the falling cherry blossoms of Japan, and from the white paradise beaches of Thailand. Videos of his performances have garnered over 20 million views, and his work has been featured in both the European and Asian media.

Philosophy

Music that soothes your soul

“My mission is to connect people with themselves, with each other, and with nature — and to inspire them to live their dreams.”

“There is so much more that we have no idea about, and we have to break out of our everyday lives to truly experience and feel it.”
— Joe Löhrmann, from his book "My Traveling Piano"
